Friday afternoon we headed out to Rancho Bernardo to spend Christmas Eve with Lucinda... Santa had visited her house early and brought a play station 3! We busted it out, set it up and played a few rounds of Bocce ball and frisbee golf
We spent a few hours just hanging out and enjoying each others company!
I brought the Gustafson family tradition of matching pajamas to the Garland celebration again this year, and it was a blast!
Then it was time to start decorating gingerbread houses! We split up into 3 teams, Lucinda and Jason, Libby and Trevor, and Me and Zach... Unfortunately, our gingerbread house broke in before we got it out of the box, but we made it work... kind of! :)
Lucinda made a delicious Ham dinner with roasted potatoes and green bean casserole... I think we all over stuffed ourselves!
We spent the rest of the evening playing "Loaded Questions" which was SUCH a blast!!!
We stayed up wayyyy too late because Libby woke us all up at about 6 AM to open presents! We spent the whole morning drinking coffee, opening presents, and eating eating eating!!!
This is what 6 AM looks like... |
I had to do it! |
Zach made me a coffee mug. I mean, seriously... how did I get him? |
My new jewelery box from Zachy... |
My Mom had a special present for Lucinda, that she also got for herself... they think they will be wearing these to my wedding.... HAHAHHAHAHA
I got Zach battling helicopters and the boys spent the rest of the morning playing with them! 26 and 18 year old men playing with toys... gotta love it!
What a great Christmas!
