This weekend

So, I am looking forward to the weekend for multiple reason.  One reason is that this week has felt never ending because of waking up at 5 AM and doing INSANITY all week.  The second reason is that on Saturday night, we will be heading out to the LAKESIDE RODEO again! We went last year for my birthday and had an absolute blast.  Here are some photos from last year:

INSANITY - Day 2

Wow... this was a butt kicker!!! I thought Mondays Fit Test was hard, well, because it was.  But today, we embarked on the first "real" insanity interval exercise.  It is called Plyometric Cardio Circuit and it is a little bit crazy.  You can click on the link above to get a good description of what it entails, but to give you a quick snapshot, Shaun T, trainer extrodinare, gets so hot and sweaty in his TANK TOP, he has to remove it about half way through.  Yikes! I am already SO sore but really enjoying the work outs so far! He pushes you right to the brink and then switches the exercise up on you so that it ALMOST feels like a break because you switch muscle groups! Tricky, tricky, tricky.

Needless to say, we were all dripppppiiiiinnnnnnngggg sweat by the end of this 42 minute INSANE workout! Thank you Shaun T for kicking my arse!

INSANITY!

So, Amanda and I are always looking for the next, best thing in workouts.  A few months ago we discovered "burst" training introduced by Dr. Josh Axe. I have fallen off the exercise wagon a little the past 3 weeks so I am looking for something to spice it up again!  So, starting on Monday, we will be doing the INSANITY program.  It was created by BeachBodies, the same company who brought us P90X!  This is a 60 day, no bulls@#%, balls to the wall work out and we are excited!! It will be Amanda, Soraya, Doug and myself here at 5:45 am workin on our fitness!

TIME TO GET INSANE!!!

Engagement Photos

Well, this past Thursday we had our engagement photo session done.  We met our photographer at Balboa Park and spent a few hours taking pictures! We dont have all the photos yet, but our photographer posted a "teaser" on her website: Stephina Photography

This is our favorite picture from the teasers... It's just so "us"

Cant wait to see the rest of the photos!
